The Problem
Elizabeth, the Founder of Elizabeth Eats, came to us feeling stagnant about her business’s and was ready to ditch her ineffective DIY efforts. She was discouraged by her businesses lack of growth and didn’t see her brands true potential.
The Solution
By delivering a strategic and holistic Brand Identity Design system we provided her with more confidence and gave her structure to grow. She was able to capture a wider, more aligned audience through our Packaging Design of her hero product line, a variety of nut butters. We also designed her Website, complete with inviting product photography we art directed and shot, to showcase and sell her amazing nut butters.
How Good Design, Solves Everything
The process of exploring and establishing her Brand Identity helped nail down her hero product line and allowed her to curate a cohesive brand offering at local Farmers Markets. Establishing a strategic visual look and feel across products and platforms gave credibility to the brand name, which she had desired and needed.
Since launch, Elizabeth Eats has gone bi-coastal, featured in Erewhon, an upscale health-food supermarket chain, along with 8 other retail locations. Having consistent and aligned branding not only allowed for strong brand recognition but amplified her credibility and legitimacy. It also opened the doors to two unexpected brand collaborations expanding her customer base even more! Customers LOVED the new branding, packaging, and website design saying it’s “so eye-catching and inviting”. Three years later, Elizabeth is still getting compliments which speaks to the timelessness of the look and feel and the strength of our strategic approach.
The Product
Elizabeth Eats makes G.O.O.D. for you health food products – the hero being the most drizzle-able Nut Butters. This product differentiator inspired the line art illustrations on the packaging design. All products are Gluten free, Organic, made with Only natural sugars, and Dairy free. Many of Elizabeth Eats Nut Butter flavors are unique in that they have never been created before, such as Cookies & Creme Nut Butter. Imagine an oreo, but in a spreadable form, and made with wholesome, whole food ingredients.
Why a Greater Mission Matters
Elizabeth is not only an entrepreneur but also has a degree in Nutrition Science and is very passionate about it. Elizabeth Eats is all about being the best version of yourself and eating G.O.O.D food. She encourages her customers to feel good by using only Gluten-free ingredients, shopping Organic when possible, consuming Only natural sugars and committing to a Dairy-free lifestyle. Her nut butters and products are meant to bring joy and help people not only eat decadent treats but live a healthier lifestyle. There is a world in which you can indulge without sacrificing health and nutrition, and Elizabeth Eats embodies that with all their products.
Sustainability in Mind
Elizabeth Eats nut butter jars are glass, the lids are metal and their labels are printed on recycled material. Elizabeth encourages her customers to reuse the jars for other food storage – or really anything. You also can purchase her Farmers Market tote – which can fit a big haul. Elizabeth is proud her products are packaged plastic free but would love to continue to expand her sustainability efforts.
Our Process
It was eye-opening for Elizabeth to experience how in-depth the Branding process was, considering every aspect Elizabeth Eats represents and properly exemplifying that across the board. As a young entrepreneur, just starting their business, one could be easily intimidated. Elizabeth appreciated all the guidance we offered, breaking it down in a digestible way.
